Submersible dirty-water pumps: Informations
Submersible dirty-water pumps are suitable for evacuating or moving heavily contaminated liquids. Leaves, paper, fibrous matters etc are sucked in and transported without any problem.
For this reason, these pumps are fit for emptying garden ponds and building pits. With regard to emergency drainage of flooded premises, submersible dirty-water pumps are indispensable for rapid pumping off to minimise water damage.

Contractor's dirty-water pumps: Use under extreme conditions.
|
Contractor's dirty-water pumps were developed for use under extreme conditions. Especially when emptying construction pits or dirty-water excavations, the pumps being used pumps have to face the highest demands. For this reason, both the hydraulic housing and the impeller are made from solid cast iron. The motor in combination with the grain size - i.e. the maximum diameter of the contaminant particles - enable large quantities of seriously contaminated liquids to be removed promptly.
The EXTREMA product line

The EXTREMA product line excels by its particularly high-quality technology
|
The EXTREMA product line excels by its particularly high-quality technology taken from the absolute top class of dirty water pumping equipment. The housing which is completely made of stainless steel, the water-cooled motor and the high-precision ball bearings allow a performance level complying with very high standards. These pumps are equipped with special gaskets and may be used to convey liquids as hot as 95° C at short term, which means that they are also suitable for handling the wastewater of washing machines.
Proven technology: The Vortex wheel
|
|
The VORTEX wheel prevents clogging. The contaminants contained in the water are swirled and chopped to make them pass freely through the hydraulic system.
|
Submersible dirty-water pumps are used to carry water which contains contaminants of various sizes. However, floating particles, sludge, sand, leaves, other plant residues and similar particles may interfere with the pump's proper operation or even stop it.
To avoid this, the standard equipment of our submersible dirty-water pumps includes a vortex free-flow wheel. This wheel efficiently prevents clogging of the pump since it swirls and shreds the contaminants to make them pass freely through the hydraulic system. This technology has proven in practice for years in the evacuation of ponds and construction pits, but also for emergency drainage when everything has to be done very fast, although larger particles may be contained in the water and the pumps have to work at a maximum degree of efficiency and reliability.
